Don’t know how much longer I can be “friends” with…

A tweet from a good man gone too far

I just don’t know how much longer I can be friends with people — but especially politicians , one of whom a subject of one Medium post of mine— who took a recent photo with Covid19 deniers and another who calls people who want to wear masks past Governor Jay Inslee suspending his mask mandate, “The cult of Branch Covidiots”. These Covid19 deniers make me sad to the point of ill and with so few, so few willing to stand up to the Covid19 deniers I am at a loss what the morally correct path is.

I mean let’s be clear here: Covid19 is real and I don’t need to be knowingly infected with Covid19 to know it’s real. I haven’t been the biggest fan of Governor Inslee over the years; but the man and his WA Governor’s Office have done an outstanding job managing the pandemic. I know Covid19 is real not just because of media reports but because I trust our health care heroes.

Our health care heroes from public health to doctors to nurses are of our communities, for our communities and serve our communities. It’s like progressives turning on the overwhelming majority of good cops with the idiotic chant, “D-f-nd the Police” and worse. What’s the difference my conservative friends?

Meanwhile I’ve been downrange defending the likes of Dr. Allison Berry, MD in the cyberspace over Clallam and Jefferson Counties. I strongly support getting tough with Covid19 as she bravely has done. Here’s a screen shot of one of my performances from the performer’s view:

On that note, to conclude: It is so saddening and frustrating to me that we have a King County Council that won’t rise up & correct the fountain of misinformation on Covid19 in our state’s midst called KVI to protect all of us. All of us. Time elected leaders remembered they represent all of us and took on the misinformation fountain in their own county.
